Easterners complain that even the biggest of Northern California
cities closes by 10 p.m. But some places promise more. It's possible
after midnight to find a 24-hour 7-Eleven, Safeway, fitness gym, bus and
diner. And, some work is just better done at night--stocks shelved,
streets swept and newspaper racks refilled.
To see who stays awake to enjoy any of it--our J-200 visited the
area's 24-hour establishments.
