Extraordinary Rendition

Preview of the broadcast and discussion with investigative journalist Stephen Grey

Presented by FRONTLINE/World

FRONTLINE/World presents a sneak preview of our Nov. 6 broadcast story, "Extraordinary Rendition" and a discussion with investigative reporter Stephen Grey, author of the acclaimed book, Ghost Plane: The True Story of the CIA's Rendition and Torture Program (St. Martin's, 2006). Grey was one of the first journalists to uncover the secrets of the CIA rendition program. Reception to follow in the courtyard.

The discussion will also be webcast live.

Egyptian cleric Abu Omar and British resident Bisher al-Rawi are two of the CIA "ghost prisoners" speaking for the first time on U.S. television as part of FRONTLINE/World's, "Extraordinary Rendition". The program showcases an international investigation by award-winning journalist Stephen Grey of the United States government's controversial, extra-legal detention and interrogation program, airing Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings).

Check out the FRONTLINE/World website for a preview and interviews with Bisher and Grey. The full video and website will be available online on November 7th.
